Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection

Brief information about cookies and their use on the website www.aquasolution.pl

What are cookies and what are they used for?

Cookies are primarily text files stored on end-user devices, such as computers, mobile phones, and tablets. They allow for the recognition of the user's device and display the website correctly (in the appropriate format and manner, depending on the device used to browse the service). They contain the name of the website they originate from, the duration of their storage on the end-user's device, and a unique number.

What types of cookies do we use?

We use two types of cookies: session and persistent. The former are temporary files that remain on the user's device until they log out of the service. They are then automatically deleted from the device. They enable smooth navigation through the service, remembering pages/products viewed by the user, and displaying the correct content to the user. In the case of so-called persistent cookies, they remain on the user's device and are subject to their own privacy policy. Their parameters can be set in the user's web browser.

We primarily use cookies to remember parameters provided by the user so they don't have to enter them again each time. They are also used to customize content presented to the user on the internet, such as displaying relevant ads and images.

Cookies also allow for the identification of the user's browser, ensuring content is displayed correctly. They also collect other information that, in principle, does not constitute personal data.

Retargeting

Based on cookies, we use technology that allows us to reach individuals who have visited our website with advertising messages (also on other websites they visit).

Third-party cookies.

The cookies we use are primarily aimed at optimizing the content displayed to the user while using our service. We also collaborate with other companies in the scope of their marketing/advertising activities. For the purposes of this cooperation, the user's browser or other software installed on the user's device also saves cookies originating from entities engaged in such marketing activities. Cookies sent by these entities are intended to improve the effectiveness of presenting ads to the user that correspond to their online activity. Third parties provide advertising content to the user. Therefore, when visiting our website on the user's device, cookies from our partners are also stored. This way, information about viewed or purchased products, for example, is collected.

Cookie settings – deletion and blocking

Detailed information about the possibility and methods of handling cookies is available in the software settings (web browser). Limiting the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available on the website, and may even prevent the possibility of placing an order.
